Weissenborn-Style Acoustic Lap Steel Guitar w/ Case

This beautiful instrument was originally built in 2004 for Max Laesser by expert luthier Marco Keller of MarcoGuitars in Baden, AG. It orients itself on the pioneering designs of Hermann Weissenborn and his sought after acoustic Hawaiian guitars. I've played lots of them as well as newer boutique versions. This acoustic steel guitar here sounds like the real thing. It is made of Sapele (a kind of mahogany that will not get you into trouble with the CITES-accord regulations) and has all the warm and rich tone characteristics you want, especially in D or even lower tunings. > listen here

I'm selling this because I concentrate on Pedal Steel and «regular» slide guitar. It is in very good condition, comes with a great case (don't be fooled by the Gold Tone logo! That case sounds better than their instruments) and I'll include an original Stevens bar.
