The Real Thing! Full-on mojo!! Glorious black sparkle, Masonite/wood body, vinyl sidewalls, metal nut, original vintage lipstick pickup, brazilian rosewood fingeboard. 18 frets, 22.5" scale. This is the guitar featured on «8000 Miles To New Orleans» (listen here) and lots of other tracks on my earlier albums. Tuned to low C-tuning (lo-hi C-G-C-E-G-C). It's been 'round the block a few times, the patina is real. Dan Auerbach, Beck, Smokey Hormel and many others would agree that these guitars never disappoint.

Made by Danelectro for Sears and Montgomery Ward between 1962 and 1967 it was originally sold with the famous amp in case that looked great and sounded really bad.

The guitar functions perfectly well and sounds great. It's 60 years old, so there are battle scars. Looks very cool. Sold as is, including a very ugly gig bag that wasn't made for this.
