Fender Gold Foil Telecaster

A fine player that has been used in the recording studio and a handful of live dates. Tom Etter of Better Guitars did a fantastic setup including intonation. The Gold Foil mini humbuckers sound really good and surprisingly Tele-like from twangy country to crunchy rhythm, funky dry and fat lead sounds – plus there's no buzzing! This is a great no-bull stage and studio guitar, very versatile and as with all new Fenders it's a lot of bang (or twang) for the buck. So why sell it, you ask? I was curious how Fender would approach the Gold Foil thing and ordered this guitar online. It did not disappoint. However, I own (and play) several 60's Teles and Harmony/Silvertone guitars with DeArmonds and I always grab one of those. This Gold Foil Tele should be played, so there. Comes with original Fender bag and papers. NOTE: There's a minor dent on the bottom that has been expertly repaired by Better Guitars (check the detail pic, see if you can spot it...).
